Augie joined Riordan in September 2010 as a Sales Representative in the Central Pennsylvania Region and works out of his home office in York, PA and the Blue Bell, PA Office. Augie is a Professional Engineer licensed in both Pennsylvania and Maryland. Prior to joining Riordan Materials, August worked as a Consulting Engineer for Rummel, Klepper, and Kahl, LLP (RK&K) and Herbert, Rowland, and Grubic (HRG) in their Environmental Departments. As a Project Manager, for these firms, he had the opportunity to work on a variety of water and wastewater treatment projects throughout Maryland and Pennsylvania. Experiences included all aspects of water and wastewater treatment projects from operation of pilot facilities to facilities planning, as well as detailed design, inspection, bidding, and construction phase services. Augie grew up in Northeastern PA and attended Dunmore High School. He received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Minor in Environmental Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University in 1995. In order to further specialize in the Environmental Field, August continued his education at Penn State and received a Master of Science degree from their Environmental Engineering department in 1997. Augie is a an active member of the American Water works Association (AWWA), the Water Environment Federation (WEF), and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). He currently resides in York, PA with his wife and two children. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, home as well as auto projects, and watching football.
